Created by Kermit Oliver , the Hermès Faune et Flore du Texas scarf was first published in 1987. It was reissued only once in 1990 in the 90 cm format, before a final reissue in 2011, only in the 70 cm format .

This square was created to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Texas's independence. Within the traditional wreath of cacti, fruits, and flowers sits the iconic turkey, perched atop a rocky outcrop typical of the Texas landscape.
Distributed to the four cardinal points and linked together by a garland of wildflowers, we discover the puma, the long-horned cow, the coyote and the mustang, all inseparable from the history of this state.

Created in a rich, multicolored palette , this edition features anthracite, taupe, green, and pink tones, all enhanced by a black frame . A combination highly sought after by collectors.
