Art and History of this Hermès Scarf

With Tutankhamun , Vladimir Rybaltchenko pays a spectacular tribute to Egyptian civilization . Each element of the square evokes the history of modern archaeology , the fascination with ancient Egypt, and the regal aesthetic of the rediscovered treasures. This square presents itself as a veritable showcase of the Cairo Museum , immersing us in the final sleep of the young pharaoh , whose tomb, with its preserved treasures, was discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon in the famous Valley of the Kings. Around Tutankhamun's funerary mask , we find Anubis , the dog-headed god of the dead, statues of the king in motion , and at the top of the square, the sumptuous funerary pectoral depicting the vulture of Nekhabet holding the ring of the infinite cycle , a symbol of eternity.
