Large livery - HERMES SCARF 90CM
"Grande Livrée" by Marie Françoise Héron - 1965
First edition 1965. Never reissued. Designed by Marie Françoise Héron, the creator of the famous Hermès scarves "Le Timbalier," "Passementerie," and "Théâtre d'Ombre." Liveries were the uniforms worn by coachmen, in the colors of their employer, whether king, nobleman, or bourgeois. According to the dictionary: "a livery is the distinctive costume worn by certain male servants." Magnificent designs, exquisite details. A true work of art, worthy of framing. A rare and sought-after Hermès collector's scarf, in very good condition considering its age. A few minor imperfections are visible in the photos. Superb bronze and gray colors on a cream background.
