Hermès scarf 90 cm – The Dresses – Philippe Ledoux - 1968
Created by Philippe Ledoux in 1968, "Les Robes" (The Coats) is a tribute to the natural beauty of the horse through the richness of its coats. The scarf precisely illustrates the different coat colors of horses—chestnut, palomino, pinto, bay, mouse gray, ebony black—in a simple and educational composition, true to the designer's elegant and realistic style. This scarf was reissued in 1983, 1993, and 1997. Rare and sought after , regardless of the edition.
The version presented here offers a soft and luminous palette , with a white background enhanced by a pale pink frame , which emphasizes the fineness of the line and the delicacy of the subject.
